When a transformer suffers fire damage, It's entire structural integrity is compromised. It takes a team of experienced personnel to assess the situation and determine the safest way to disassemble the unit. Here are a few pictures of a late model transformer which suffered extensive fire damage that A-Line E.D.S. recently removed from a substation.
