A-Line E.D.S. recently completed a transformer teardown project on the deck of the Walter F. George Dam overlooking the Chattahoochee River. We were able to get some great pictures of the swift work we made of these units. Our crew of 4 men removed over 500,000 lbs of material from this site in 5 days!
These 2 transformers totaled over 500,000 lbs. We provided tankers for the careful removal of the oil prior to the decommissioning. We take pride in our environmental compliance and attention to detail which ensures that any site is kept clean.

Once the units were prepped we removed the top tank sections to expose the core and coil for further dismantling. We limit the risk and liability of our customers with our safety and efficiency to ensure minimal time on their sites.
