A-Line dismantled this 765 KV transformer weighing over a half a million pounds. Our crew mobilized when this transformer failed to help save this utility an expensive and dangerous relocation.

Once the transformer radiators were removed a crane was brought in to remove the bushing and top transformer tank section.
We can’t seem to avoid the winter weather as it continues to follow us around the country. Here is a picture of our equipment upon arrival after a fierce storm rolled through.
After a little snow removal and hard work were were able to keep this transformer teardown on task. The completion of this project took us only 5 days.
The sun was shining and the site was ready for the replacement transformer to be placed upon our departure.
